Friends of J.S. Jenks Second Annual Silent Auction and Reception

Saturday, June 1st from 4-7pm
The Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields – 8000 St. Martins Lane
Suggested donation $20 per person – $30 for two – $40 per family

“Oh, the Places We’ll Go!” is a silent auction and reception for the John Story Jenks Elementary School inspired by the creative and optimistic spirit of Dr. Seuss, This fundraising event features a variety of auction items from area businesses and artworks created by Jenks students, in addition to live entertainment, kid-friendly food, appetizers, desserts, and drinks. Children are welcome to participate in games and craft activities while parents bid on auction items!

Proceeds help support music, art, and enrichment programs at the John Story Jenks Elementary School. This year’s event will mark the launch of a major fundraising drive to renovate Jenks’ auditorium, transforming it into a modern performance and community space while preserving its historic charm.

The Friends of J.S. Jenks is an independent fundraising organization consisting of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members dedicated to supporting a range of programmatic and infrastructure development at the John Story Jenks Elementary School in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. Membership in the Friends of J.S. Jenks is free and open to all who are interested.
